This morning it was released that Matt Lauer is the latest domino to fall in the recent series of powerful men being exposed as sexual predators. 

In a breaking news report from the Today Show itself, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb shared a note from NBC news chairman, Andy Lack. 

"Matt Lauer has been terminated from NBC News. On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer. As a result, we’ve decided to terminate his employment," said a tweet from Today. 

In the report, Guthrie stated that is all the information they have right now but will be updating the story with more information as it is revealed. 

What an unexpected turn of events, especially considering he had just done his 20th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade less than a week ago.
