We usually don't really think twice about getting packages delivered to our front doors when we're not home. We trust our neighbors and never really consider if any strangers would have sticky fingers and want to take our things.
To add insult to injury, this thief decided it would be nice to leave a thank-you note saying "Thank you for the package!" It's not totally clear if this note was sincere or not, but we're going to assume it's a slap in the face.
Mair Blatt, the home and package's rightful owner, said that her home security camera on the front door is motion activated and sends notifications to her phone. When Blatt got a notification recently, she was able to see that someone was at her door, but assumed that it was her neighbor and dismissed it. By dismissing the notification, the camera was shut off, so there is no proof of who really stole the package. Of course Blatt assumes the strange woman, who was not her neighbor, is the one who stole her $17 bottle of hair oil from her porch. So we better bring out the big dogs, maybe even call a SWAT team because Mair Blatt has lost her hair product.
