After Crawfordsville, Indiana police got a call saying a man in a ski mask entered the Backstop Brewery with a gun, they went to the scene to check it out.
When an officer arrived he saw the "robber" backing out the door with a weapon but as it turned out the "robber" was actually actor, Jim Duff. What was thought to be an actual robbery was actually just a movie being filmed but when Duff tried to explain that fact, the officer still didn't back down.
Gun drawn, the officer fires a shot, tells Duff to drop his weapon and to get on the ground.
Eventually nothing more serious happened but the police say neither the production company, nor the brewery notified anyone about what was actually going on.
Duff was taken into custody until it was proven they were actually making a movie and no charges were filed in the end.
