Nine-year-old James Savage recently set a pretty impressive record. He is the youngest person to ever swim from San Francisco to Alcatraz and back. And he did the whole thing in just two hours, despite the windy and frigid conditions!
For his effort, he earned $100 from his parents. That doesn't seem like nearly enough money, but when you're only nine, $100 may as well be $1 million.
James says that for his next feat, he plans to attempt to swim the length of the Golden Gate Bridge. Good luck, kid!
