On Monday night, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton participated in the first Presidential debate, which ended up being the most watched debate in history. More than 80 million people tuned in to watch. And unfortunately for one woman in the D.C. area, many of those people ended up calling and texting her phone because of a big mistake made by C-Span!
During the debate, C-Span asked for people to text their thoughts on how the debate was going. Unfortunately, they number they gave out belonged to Tripp Diaz, a random 26-year-old woman. As you can imagine, her phone started blowing up...to the tune of 13,000 text messages and 600 calls!
Diaz was understandably confused by all of this and eventually figured out what had happened. She said that she had to put her phone into airplane mode so she could get some sleep Monday night. Luckily, Diaz has an unlimited text plan!
