Most people who have pets will do damn near anything for them. And in the case of this Florida couple, they're going above and beyond to ensure that their pet will be returned home safely.
Last Thursday night while they were out to dinner, Carl Minix and his wife's pet, a three-month-old capuchin monkey named Henry, was stolen right out of their home. The thief came in through a bedroom window that was cracked open, took the monkey from the cage and fled, not having touched anything else in the house.
Minix says that the monkey cost him $9,000 and he had to go through 1,000 hours of training in order to get a permit from the state of Florida to legally obtain Henry. But now that Henry is missing, Minix is willing to spend up to $10,000 for his safe return, no questions asked. That's a lot of money for a missing pet monkey.
