As a long time Beatles fan, I can’t get enough of the constant flow of unearthed studio material that seemingly has no end. In this case, during the Rubber Soul sessions, Paul and John were working on “We Can Work It Out” and “Day Tripper”, which would later be released together as the A and B sides of a single instead of ending up on the album. Before, Day Tripper’s iconic riff showed up, they were heard here working on a very early, stripped down version.
