It’s not every day you get to see rare astrological phenoms like a total eclipse which is exactly why people are so excited and making plans to the path of totality for the eclipse happening today, April 8th, 2024.
Of course, there are plenty of dumb-dumbs out there who think they are tougher than the sun and will be totally fine just looking at the sky with their bare eyes, but there’s also plenty of things the every day person doesn’t know about eclipses.
Some points of interest astronomy author and educator, Ed Ting, shared recently on “CBS Sunday Morning” includes why it appears the way it does, odd things that happen in the sky and with all the animals, if and when you can remove the glasses, as well as tips for photographers.
Are you in the path of totality for this one? What are your big eclipse plans?
