There’s a lot that can happen to your balls in Vegas, whether you feel them shrivel up when you lose big, inflate when you win big or feel like they’re being ripped apart by a scorpion in your bed! The latter is what happened to a California man when he was staying at the Venetian over the holidays.
Michael Farchi was fast asleep when he woke up in excruciating pain.
“I just felt like somebody stabbing me in my private area,” said Farchi. “It felt like a sharp glass or a knife.”
Upon investigation, he found a little orange scorpion pinching his underwear, right where his testicles would be.
He went to the hospital, made a report, worked with the hotel who comped the room and says they followed protocol. However, Farchi is still considering legal action.
