With its desert climate and terrifying critters, Arizona seems like it’s the Australia of the United States.

In this case, the terrifying critter was a rattlesnake in the backseat of this Arizona woman’s car.

Milan Watt and her boyfriend got in the car when he told her to get out after seeing the snake’s tongue flipping about at him. As it turned out, the snake had likely been there for around two weeks.

When 911 said they could be of no help, Watt’s boyfriend ended up opening all of the car doors and used a tree branch to remove it.

No snakes or humans were harmed during the encounter.
