Nick Swardson was in Colorado for a standup show when he was removed from the stage for allegedly being drunk, incoherently babbling to the audience.

Folks in the crowd heckled him in response in one of the only times we think it was entirely justified.

Eventually, the theater manager came out and apologized after cutting Nick’s spotlight and microphone.

“We apologize for the negative experience you may have had at this evening’s performance with Nick Swardson,” the venue emailed those who attended the show. “Unfortunately, this show did not meet the Vilar Performing Arts Center’s standards as a world-class presenter of the performing arts.”

The venue then refunded the tickets.
