It’s no secret that nobody likes a smug a-hole, but smug a-holes on Jeopardy! especially get no grace.
The category was “British History” for this “Final Jeopardy!” and the question was one that none of the contestants got correct.
One contestant completely threw it away to give some sort of Heath Ledger tribute/shoutout to his mom, another gave it an actual guess, and the last one didn’t guess anything.
The nothing-guesser ended up still walking away with a win after blowing a kiss to the crowd, shouting something that sounded like “LET’S GO CHAD” and clapping obnoxiously loud.
The internet has responded with lots of hate for this guy, some even going as far as saying he’s a disgrace to Alex Trebek’s memory.
