Being on the other side of a rabid animal is terrifying, but to be attacked by a rabid otter is shocking considering how cute, carefree and sweet they seem.
Despite their adorable appearance, this Jupiter, Florida man learned the hard way that even otters can fall victim to rabies and they can, in fact, attack.
Joseph Scaglione was feeding wildlife, as he often enjoys doing, when he was attacked by an otter that was later captured, tested and euthanized due to its rabies and rabid behavior.
Luckily, Scaglione is fine and is able to continue enjoying Gabagool for years to come.
