This formerly incarcerated woman uses her TikTok to share with people what life was like on the inside. As you can imagine, it was far from glamourous.
One thing, though, that many people may not think about until they’re incarcerated is what happens if you need glasses or contacts.
Turns out, prisons do NOT allow contact lenses and only once a prisoner has completed a certain portion of their incarceration, they can then apply for glasses to be provided by the state.
And, no, you do not get to pick from a wall of fashionable frames if approved.
