Going to the dentist can be anxiety-inducing enough, but having the guts to go to an illegal dental office running out of a room in the back of your local convenience store? We’d probably say no, but that’s exactly what detectives found in Milford, Massachusetts.
The Milford Health Department was doing a routine inspection at the Alternativa Convenience Store when detectives came to discover the “significant dental operation” going on in a rented room at the back of the store.
Upon further investigation, 64-year-old Juan Hermida Munoz was found to be the “dentist” in question. While it’s unclear how many procedures he did, Munoz is being charged with “unauthorized practice of medicine” and “unauthorized practice of dentistry.”
