Imagine your airline losing your dog as you try to navigate the world’s busiest airport while also handling hiccups with your international travel plans.

That’s what happened to proud pup owner, Paula Rodriguez, at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

The pup, Maia, was lost at the airport for total of three weeks. In that time, Delta offered Rodriguez money, while she was out searching, putting up signs and enlisting the help of a Lost Pet Recovery Specialist.

Luckily, Maia, was found and is now on her way home to the Dominican Republic.
