We all agree parking in urban areas is a pain in the butt, right?
Despite the annoyances involved in it all, we still have to do it, which is why it’s even more irritating when people try to make it even more annoying by getting their grubby, scammy hands all over it!
Apparently, authorities in this South Carolina town are warning people of a scam on the rise involving fake QR codes at parking lots that will then pipe payments into the scammers’ own bank accounts.
Imagine it, you pay for parking (or think you have) only to walk out and not only have that money go to someone else, but also still end up with a ticket! This tourist has his own two cents on the matter:
