Not everyone knows everything about baseball, but it definitely doesn’t take an avid fan to understand this was a complete and utter flub by the Boston Red Sox.

Sure, it’s not uncommon to (literally) to drop the ball and give up a base or two but to give up an entire “home run” is a real problem.

That’s what happened when the Red Sox allowed New York Mets’ Jeff McNeil to score a “little league home run” resulting in some real comedic baseball.
