We get it, women have a lot more to be aware of and prepared for when in public. Especially when you’re in a situation where your guard may be down or you are simply trying to get active, like at the gym.
However, while the “not all men” response is entirely unhelpful, this guy sure wishes it was as he was kicked out of a gym after a woman thought he was staring at her. The kicker, though, he’s actually blind and couldn’t have been staring even if he wanted to.
The man, a 21-year-old soccer player named Toby Addison, share the story on a podcast, to which people responded he should take some sort of legal action against the gym, the woman, etc.
While it’s unfortunate for him that nobody took his blindness into consideration, is it really that serious? If we’re giving credit where credit is due, we can appreciate the gym’s dedication to the safety of their members…right?
