Denny Hamlin isn’t necessarily known as “Mr. Congeniality” among his fellow NASCAR drivers; however, the driver and team owner has some longer-standing beef with Chase Elliot that seemed to boil over both at and after this year’s Coca Cola 600.
During the race, Elliott and Hamlin crashed, taking both drivers out. Upon replay, though, it appeared Elliot had actually done it intentionally in retaliation to prior contact earlier, causing him to be suspended for the next race.
After, Hamlin was able to pull various analytics to prove it was done intentionally, posted them to Twitter and proceeded to cook Elliot more on his podcast, “Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin.”
ohhhhhh boy he has cooked 🍿🔥🫢 https://t.co/HbwDzyKbGn pic.twitter.com/fqV4NU4eyK
