This is one of those examples of a prank that, while meant to cause a bit of chaos and confusion, caused way more than the prankster intended.
Recently, a Texas high school had students reporting such severe headaches due to a stench in the school that they were sent to the hospital. Eventually the school had to cancel classes so emergency and Hazmat crews could investigate.
While investigations got them no closer to answers as to the origins of the odor, a student has since confessed to using “fart spray.” Officials now expect more students involved to come forward.
