A New Jersey woman heading to Florida from Philadelphia accidentally ended up on a flight to Jamaica after her gate for her actual flight changed while she was in the restroom.
Having no passport on her, because she didn’t need it to go to Florida, she was rushed onto the plane that she thought was hers which is why nobody caught she was boarding the wrong flight (in a real “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” situation).
Luckily, the Frontier Airlines crew talked to authorities and they allowed her to take another flight back to the states and the airline even ended up paying her $600 as well as paid for her original ticket.
