Jerry Springer, a symbol of staying home sick from school for an entire generation, passed away yesterday of pancreatic cancer at 79 years old.
His show, “The Jerry Springer Show” ran for 27 years and put out more than 4,000 episodes of classic dramatic storylines, catfights and more.
Also, worth noting, that at points in his life he was Mayor of Cincinnati, a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars”, a TV judge, and so much more. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy will live on as folks everywhere will continue to chant “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!” until the end of time.
