Known for leaning into the obvious joke that came with the original, family-named drugstore, Butt Drugs Pharmacy became popular for their “Buttshakes”, an old-fashioned soda fountain and “I [Heart] Butt Drugs” merch.
However, despite the community’s enjoyment of Butt Drugs, the owner, Katie Butt Beckort, says it’s tough for small businesses to stay afloat in this kind of economy.
