There’s been a fair share of spicy challenges going around over the years where people eat the “world’s hottest” versions of chips, lollipops, and more!

Now, there’s a gum that is 16 MILLION scovilles, a unit of measurement used in determining the heat of peppers based on the capsaicin concentration. Your average habanero pepper is between 150,000-325,000 scoville units, so something that is 16 million is closer to eating pepper spray.

That’s why, when 10 kids at a Massachusetts elementary school tried the gum, available on Amazon, they actually ended up in the hospital.
