A principal in Volusia County, Florida resigned after writing a $100,000 check, out of the school’s account to a scammer on the internet posing as a spokesperson for Elon Musk. She says she is smart and well-educated, but happened to fall for a scam after chatting with and getting “groomed” by the fake Musk…despite fellow staff members warning her it’s not real.
She, apparently, had always wanted to get Musk involved in the charter school…now maybe he will after hearing about all this? Probably not, he’s busy running Twitter (into the ground).
