This North Carolina man thought he had bought his wife a 2021 Maserati for her birthday back in November when he shelled out $68K to Carvana, and rightfully assumed everything was all well and good.
However, the new car bliss quickly wore off when, in February of 2023, he took it to be serviced at a dealership, only to find out that the car not only is actually a 2017 model, but was also stolen to begin with!
Though he was cleared of any criminal involvement, police seized the vehicle, and a long legal battle with Carvana continues.
