This 41-year-old man, formerly known as Deano Wilson, decided he would take the ultimate dad joke to a legal extreme when he changed his name to Fire Exit.
Exit said he got the idea during the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, a time when everyone was totally sane with no effects on their mental health, and only spent about $20 at 1:30 AM to legally be known as Fire Exit the rest of his life.
He now says he is more famous than Elton John and prides himself that “It’s the only name in lights in every language around the world. Even when there’s no power, my name is illuminated up there.”
