Mary McCoy started working in radio five days a week when she was just 12 years old. Now, after almost 72 years, at age 85, she is still on air and has recently been awarded the Guinness World Record for “longest career as a radio presenter/DJ.”
At the time she was awarded, on February 15th, she had been on air for 71 years and 357 days, beating the previously held record by over three years.
