One of the referees working the Detroit Red Wings’ 2-0 loss at Nashville was heard on a hot mic saying he planned on calling a penalty against the Predators, regardless on whether or not it was warranted. The NHL is looking into the matter, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
