Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs is investigating and also telling patients of this doctor in Kalamazoo to get tested.
The complaint filed against Dr. Roger Beyer alleges his office, Women’s Health Care Specialists and Beyer Research, inconsistently cleaned anorectal manometers between patients.
Concerned patients have been reaching out to the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Service Department which also offers free HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C testing to anyone who thinks they were exposed to bodily fluids.
Dr. Beyer claims no patients were treated with unsanitary devices and maintains they were sanitized better than FDA regulations.
