We understand how it feels to try to do your job so well only for the structure surrounding you to hinder that but Twins broadcaster Bert Blyleven should have chosen his words a bit better here!
Turns out Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, continues to never be good to Minnesota Twins’ third baseman Miguel Sano.
In the top of the eighth inning to break the 3-3 tie, Sano hit what should have been a home run until the ball ricocheted off a speaker and into the mitt of Rays’ Willy Adames for the final out!
Frustrating considering it’s not the first time this has happened to Sano at Tropicana Field, but Blyleven wasn’t holding back and literally said “blow up this place!”
One, two, three “YIKES” you’re out…
