Imagine taking a Lyft ride and getting home only to find an extra $100 for a cleaning fee when you did absolutely nothing wrong?
Apparently it is a common thing Lyft drivers have somehow been getting away with called “Vomit Fraud.”
Apparently they submit “photo evidence” of some puke in their car and then stick you with the fee!
This guy in Pinellas County, Florida got hit with this “vomit fraud” and when he tried to dispute it, Lyft actually just shrugged it off because there was no way to prove he didn’t actually do it!
He now says he is going to record every time he enters and exits from a ride share vehicle and it seems like a pretty good idea!
