Parents at a New Jersey high school are upset after finding out a teacher offered students extra credit, but only if they bought a ticket to a fundraiser.

The teacher apparently sent out an announcement telling the students the $20 fundraiser tickets would be available and if they forward her their receipts they could get the extra credit.

One mom at a recent board meeting is calling out the hypocrisy, though!

Her child asked if there was extra work they could do for extra credit and the teacher said credit can’t be offered that late in the term…only for the next day the fundraiser to be announced.

It’s really a shame, here, because money for extra credit could really be a gold mine!

Not that we’re condoning anything…
