Criminals, for the most part, are not the smartest people in the world. Sure, there are some exceptions, but in the case of 54-year-old Zelda L. Cotton of Tonawanda, NY, she’s the rule…not the exception.
Cotton was apparently tired of her 76-year-old boyfriend and decided to call 911 for some advice…on how to kill him. Wait, what?! Obviously, police responded to the call, and it’s a good thing that they did. When they arrived, the 76-year-old man said that his girlfriend had threatened him, hit him numerous times with a VHS tape and hit him with a leaf blower battery!
Not surprisingly, Cotton was arrested, arraigned, ordered to keep away from her boyfriend and held on $5,000 bail.
