A case brought forward by a Michigan woman has taken two years but has finally resulted in something we’re all pretty used to being ruled unconstitutional!

Now, parking enforcement officers who put chalk marks on your tires to keep track of how long you have been parked are actually participating in an unconstitutional act.

The Federal appeals court that handled the case said the chalk-marking actually violates your Fourth Amendment rights which protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures.

With this recent ruling, the lawsuit goes back to the U.S. District Court in Bay City, Michigan.
