An Auburn gymnast named Samantha Cerio suffered a gruesome injury during an NCAA women’s gymnastics regional event and when we say gruesome…YIKES.

She starts her routine all fine and fancy free…until she goes to stick the landing.

Cerio lands and both her legs bend backwards AT THE KNEES.

It is horrifying.

Luckily nothing broke but she did dislocate both knees and suffered multiple torn ligaments.

She did also officially retire from the sport.
