Mötley Crüe recently unveiled their metal cover of Madonna’s Like A Virgin as part of a handful of songs for their upcoming new Netflix biopic, The Dirt.
The film follows, pretty accurately according to the band mates, the rise of the 80’s superstar hair band as documented in their 2001 book of the same name.
Full of shenanigans and, of course, great music the band decided the soundtrack needed to match the film so the band has reunited for their first new songs since their farewell tour!
The choice to cover Like A Virgin is actually pretty ironic according to Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx originally calling it “a bad idea but pretty funny.”
The film drops on Netflix this Friday, March 22nd but you can catch the first of many covers from the soundtrack now!
