Well, the hot debate of whether or not Nickelback is one of the best damn things to happen to music has made it all the way to our very own government!
The people who make the decisions on what we can and cannot do in this country took a few minutes to duke out the Nickelback debate on the floor of the House of Representatives!
Democrat Mark Pocan of Wisconsin took a jab at the band, to which Republican Rodney Davis of Illinois said, “Why would you criticize one of the greatest bands of the ’90s?”
Davis then continued the debate, admitting his love for the rockstar group, further proving freedom of speech is the best thing to ever exist in this country…right next to Nickelback.

Rodney Davis actually kept talking about his love of Nickelback for another 40 seconds or so when it was his turn to speak again. pic.twitter.com/PQQERt9d6S
