Bart Hickey has been a mechanic for 30 years but has never driven a car, or even seen one for that matter!
Hickey has been blind since birth but that has not stopped him from developing a passion for cars and actually running his own shop in Alsip, Illinois.
However, just working on cars is not enough, Hickey has always dreamed of driving!
So, Hickey’s son Brendan reached out to Mercedes Benz to make that possible!
Now cry happy tears with us as Bart achieves his dream and drives across the desert reaching speeds upwards of 110 miles per hour!
