Some rando decided it would be funny if we sold Montana to Canada for $1 Trillion to help pay off some of the U.S.’s national debt.
It was obviously started as a joke but now with more than 7,000 signatures and a reporter who found quite a few Canadians who like the idea, it seems kind of feasible!
So could Montana become part of Alberta? We’ll see!
Now let’s find more stuff to sell to Canada, we’ve got a lot of national student debt to pay off!
