Why Brian Hankins should be Station Mayor:
I am a long time daily listener, a conservative non-Italian from the Jersey Shore with my finger on the pulse of today's hot topics. I have over 25 years working with idiots as a bartender and I've been told I have the patience of a saint. I am even tempered with a rapid fire quick wit. I will be able to carry out the tasks involved and can represent NJ with a positive spin.
Biography:
I was born Halloween, 1962 and lived in Jersey most of my life. I tended bar for more than 25 years. I worked restaurants, sports bars, nightclubs, dives and mom and pop joints until enough was enough. Now, I ready properties for sale or rent. I started listening to morning radio with Imus and then Howard until he went to satellite radio. Now I listen to you guys. The first time I happened to catch "What Hot Wings Thinks" and the announcer said "Thats your new opinion from Hot Wings", I thought that was ballsy but I did agree with him. I've been loyal ever since.

Why Heinz Schwiegershausen should be Station Mayor:
I have listened since day one, right after I heard the ads for you show on GRD. I liked you all right away, so much so that I had to meet you three. Even Free Beer said that I was one of the shows most loyal listeners! Then there is Hot Wings' motorcycle. He gave it to me for $1 because I bugged him to let me fix it for him to get out riding again. Since I've had the bike, everywhere I ride it, I tell people who I got the bike from and who I am, almost to the point of "Don't you know who I am?", but not. I tell them about the show if they don't listen, and if they do, we have a lot to talk about! Great conversation starter. I love how many listeners I run into and I'm surprised how many already know me. I ride that bike a lot too. Last year I put only 12,000 miles on it, but the year before I logged 14,000! I love that thing!
Biography:
I grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland OH, moved to Northern Virginia in '84, then moved to Grand Rapids in '89. I now live in Holland. I have been working in the tool & die industry for the last 16 years. I now work for a great company, I am responsible for a press that automatically takes a strip of brass and a strip of cardboard, combines them through a progressive die, adds light bulbs and then loads the parts in totes, then into racks. I have listened to Free Beer and Hot Wings ever since they have been on the air here. I think I have heard every episode they have done and what I miss, I catch up on with the podcast or best of. Before I was able to get the podcast, I have refused work at times on the basis that I would not be able to hear the show! I got the chance to meet Free Beer, Hot Wings and Eric many times since they started on WGRD. Since then, I have not only gotten the chance to see them at numerous station remotes, I raced electric go-carts, won $1,600 on Dumber than Zane Trivia and won concert tickets for putting firecrackers is my bathtub! Hot Wings gave me his '82 Honda Magna motorcycle for $1. I had to put around $900 into it because he let it sit for 3 years and I am continually working on it to make it look nicer. I ride that bike everywhere I go in the summer, rain or shine!
Biography, as written by Producer Joe: My name is Heinz Schweigerschweisen. My parents named me after my Mom's favorite food: Heinz brand rubber cement. In 1984 I dropped out of the Future Tech Alternative School to pursue my dream of working in an 8-track assembly plant. This was the same year that the Fantastic Sams barber shop opened in my neighborhood. I didn't know it then, but that place would change my life forever. When the hair cutter guy asked what style I wanted to go with I was stumped. After taking a few
hours to ponder this, it finally came to me! What would go best with a Kool-Aid mustache, midriff Iron Maiden shirt, and acid wash denim shorts? A parted down the middle, finely feathered mullet! I was feeling pretty good about this life change, but there was stil something missing from my totally kick-ass-radical look. What was it though? It was my smile. While my teeth had the perfect amount of chips in them, they lacked the unhealthy amber film that coats the teeth of every great Schweigerschweisen male. Since my job at the assembly plant had lasted only four days, and I hadn't found work
elsewhere, I had plenty of time on my hands. For the next thirty years or so my days were spent eating cigarette butts, and smearing Red Man on my gums. I was a man now. Though I'd seemingly accomplished more than I was capable of, I wasn't done achieving. In 2014 I got to work once again. In only three years time I both learned how to work a radio, and a telephone. Finding quarters to make calls was a struggle, but as it is with everything I do, I got it done. After annoying a morning radio show for five years, they gave me a two wheeled car and made me their mayor. I don't know
what a mayor is, but I think I feel proud. Thank you.

Why Janice "Queenie" Albright should be Station Mayor:
I think I should be the Station Mayor for Nashville because I have lived in this area all of my life. I know most of the events and happenings in Middle Tennessee, but I have a open ear for those that I do not. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, and sometimes just in casual conversation, I am constantly promoting listening to 102.9 The Buzz and you guys. I am an extremely congenial person and think I would do a good job as Station Mayor for Nashville. In closing, and most importantly, I have teeth, a sexy southern accent and I'm a hot cougar who can definitely attract attention. Also, I could probably whip any Nashville mingers into shape.
Biography:
I was born and raised in Springfield, Tennessee, and have worked in and around the Nashville area for the past 25 years. I graduated in 1984 from Jo Byrns High School and attended Tennessee State University for 3 years. I have three children ranging in age from 14 to 24 and I am a single mother. I currently work in the legal field and have for most of my 25 years working, but took a hiatus and went into real estate development and brokerage for 10 years. I was a general contractor and built approximately 18 auto parts stores in and around Tennessee. There really aren't many trades I have not done with regard to construction. I ran copper one summer just so I could earn extra money. Momma always said it's handy to know how to take care of any and everything! I also managed strip malls (not strip clubs) in Jackson and Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and in an around Charleston, South Carolina. I am an avid listener of the Free Beer and Hot Wings show and have even traveled to show events. I am a moderator on the listener operated message board www.fbhwforum.com and plan on visiting Grand Rapids this summer to meet more members of the board. Fistor rules!!

Why Bob Patterson should be Station Mayor:
I love your show! I love my home town! I've lived here almost my whole life. I know just about everything there is to know about Springfield. From local issues and stories to the local crazies and wack-jobs, you can be sure I can deliver you "the skinny" as Station Mayor. No one knows more about Springfield than I do. I've never been arrested or in trouble well...for the most part. I'm probably most like Free Beer, as far as being clean-cut and respectable, which is what you'd want in a Mayor. You wouldn't want some goof ball, stoner representing Springfield. After all, this is Abe's home town! I can identify with Eric Zane too, as I've completed my 3rd round of P90X. I love it. I've lost nearly 40 lbs and am in the best shape of my ENTIRE LIFE...BRING IT! Additionally, I listen to WQLZ and it's sister stations all the time, especially their talk station WMAY...and yes I even listen to Bishop "I find it interesting...". However, I'm not a conspiracy theory whack-o.
Biography:
My name is Bob Patterson, a life long resident of the Springfield area (college years excluded). I graduated from Springfield High School in 1992, Illinois State University in 1996 and University of Illinois in 1998. I have been married for 10 years and have 2 boys, ages 4 and 18 months. I've worked in financial services for 11 years. I currently work for a bank.
The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show is awesome and a great way to start your day...with laughter! I'm very excited to fulfill my duties as Station Mayor; talking with the guys, giving them our perspective on whatever is the pertinent topic of the day. I also look forward to some of the perks of the job, like sending Ambassador Bishop to Peoria to gather useless information for his Saturday show, or maybe just to pick up lunch at Subway and bring it back. Anyway, I hope to represent WQLZ and Springfield well. If you have any information or crazy stories you want me to pass on to the show, send me an email. Thanks.

Why Mickey Brown should be Station Mayor:
I have been listening since you took over for Stern, so I know a lot of your history. I also keep track of the Albany area and what's going on because I have my own website that relates to Albany. I have also been told by a few of my bosses that I do a great job, but my mouth can sometimes get me in trouble, kind of like you guys. I am very opinionated and I think that everyone should be allowed to have an opinion, as long as it is the same as mine.
Biography:
Born and raised in Ravena, NY. Currently living in Albany. Served 4 years in the U.S. Army during the peaceful 80's (Thank God). Worked 18 years as an Industrial Electrician. Electrocuted many times, blown up once. Been married since 2002. Went to China in 2006 and adopted the smartest, prettiest, girl on the entire planet who is now 4. Currently work as an Electrical Control Systems Designer. I draw Electrical Systems on a computer. Started my own website in 2009, www.albanyconservative.us. I bought a couple of books, learned how to write the computer languages, and then built my own site from scratch. It's very crude at the moment, but it gets better every day. I am a conservative as far as politics go. In Albany, that can get you killed. I started P90X in December, 2009, had knee surgery in March and will be restarting P90X in May.
