Hey! I havent blogged in quite a while so I figured its time for ole lady Man Voice to step up.
So two weeks ago my room mates and I all did our usual Saturday night pre-party at our place then off too the bar. It went the same as any other Saturday in the small town we live in. We shared drinks with each other all night dancing and blahblahblah, well MAYBE we should have listened to the news and taken some precautions on sharing our drinks because three of the four of us woke up Sunday morning I can only describe as barley living!
Two of us were puking while the other one had such a high fever that we considered taking her to the hospital. Us (being stupid twenty-somethings) chalked it up to being hung over... well Monday when it didn't go away we went to the doctor to find that we each had SWINE FLU! What the hell! that's real? Yes, its very real. We then got to miss an entire week of class, (that's just great...) and work, which sucked cuz Im broke no joke.
Well Saturday comes around and I wake up feeling like a new person (or at least a new person compared to the 5 days of swine hell I had experienced prior) So we think its a good idea to go to the bar for a little bit to visit some friends...
Every time a boy would talk to me, another boy from my class would mosey over and say something to them and they'd "disappear" I come to find out this boy was telling these other guys and gals I hang with,
"I dont know if you know this but Jackie and her roomies had swine flu all last week!"
Cool Dude, thank ya that's awesome....
Anyway, this story was semi pointless but it goes to show you, wash your hands and don't share drinks with people! You can catch swine, and no one wants to talk to the swine kid

Modern Warfare 2 came out this week. I play indoor soccer in a league on Tuesday nights and originally had had no intention of picking it up on release day. Our soccer team is sponsored by one of the local bars here in town so normally we will go out for a few drinks after the game. This week no one was really feeling it though, so a few of us talked about it and decided to go grab a copy at the Best Buy across the street. The game does not disappoint. I havn't sat down and played a game like this on Xbox since Vice City, I did beat GTA 4 but it took about 6 months. Because of that though, I'm basically like Jim from The Office when he was playing one of the earlier Call of Dutys with the guys at the other branch. I have no idea what is going.

I figured fellow intern Brett (Lurch) would be a good resource since he had played the original MW and I knew from talking to him that he was going to get it release day as well. So when I turned on Live and saw he was online, I promptly joined him. Come to find out dude's already in a clan and they did not take kindly to new fellas. You give a guy a few letters before his gamertag and he just changes I guess. Anyway, if you would like to join Intern Lurch and I in playing MW2 in something he is kind of pretentiously (at least in my opinion) calling "Game with Fame," I got his OK to put our names on here. Mine is walkersbest and his is sturmfront88. You can feel free to marvel at me as I die a lot and well I don't know how good Lurch is.

Everyday when I get to come in to the show, I get to hang out with my best bud Steve. No words can describe this friendship. We pretty much do everything together. Everyday after the show is over we hang out and do what best buds do. We go to see movies, we go to concerts, water parks are blast as well!! Bar hoppin is always a must. We even have a best bud hand shake. I can't disclose any more info about that than I already have. Have you ever seen Rob & Big? Well that's pretty much what Steve and I have, but without all the useless spending of money. I would have to say that Steve and I hang out way too much, but I don't think that's even possible for two best buds like us! There's just really too much to say about this friendship and just not enough typing space. So, I'm out!

It's Andy 2 Times again, venting about the dumbing of America. I was in a channel flipping induced semi coma, when I stumbled upon one of the fifty million "I love" shows on VH1. I realize that MTV stopped playing music shortly after the Regan administration left office, but I had hoped that VH1 would somehow set themselves apart from all the other crappy pseudo-networks. Don't get me wrong, I love Behind the music and...well I guess that's all, but now I have be inundated with horny balding rock stars, 2 no name and no talent brothers looking for love (and the nearest free clinic that gives out penicillin shots like they were Pez). Even Tiffany "New York" Pollard (who's voice has the timbre of a busy signal) is still grasping on to her fifteen minutes of fame tighter than Roman Polanski holding a lolly-pop. Don't even get me started on the classy ass on "Laguna Beach," "The Hills" and "The City." Whiny, hotties bitching about high school style drama in your mid-20's qualifies as quality programming? Whenever I think of these celeb-u-tards, I envision Gollum's never ending pursuit for his "precious"...and we all know how that turned out. I'm not saying that they should be thrown in a giant volcano (I can't afford the air fare to Hawaii). I'm just saying maybe if we could somehow get them close enough the edge of one, the heat and bright light will distract them. Then Mother nature will do her thing and add a little chlorine to the gene pool.
