Here at Free Beer and Hot Wings, we're all about sharing videos of gross things, people getting hurt, and people being stupid. But every once in a while, we'll drop a feel good story on you. Don't say we never do anything for you.
Clarence Blackmon is an 81-year-old army vet who has been in the hospital for the last few months going through cancer treatment. As if that wasn't hard enough, he was released to his home with no food and no way of getting to the grocery store. The hospital failed to contact anyone about him being released.
Clarence had no choice but to call 911 and explain that he needed food and he was unable to move. Luckily, the operator followed through and sent officers to his house carrying groceries.
Since the story aired, donations have been pouring in and his cupboards are overflowing with food...so much so that he's been sharing it with the local food pantry!
