The NYC subway can be a crazy place. From constant begging from bums to someone always trying to sell you something, people annoyingly singing is typically the least of your concern. The person shooting the video below encountered just that: a dude that was singing extremely loud while rockin' out with his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. While recording this dope with his phone, he managed to capture a thief with lightning-fast timing and pinpoint accuracy steal the guys headphones as the train was about to pull away. Numerous things are wrong with this video and this situation in general. Let's list them now, shall we?
1. Everyone knows that the golden rules on the subway are be quiet, look down and don't make eye contact. Just stop singing. Everyone hates you.
2. To the thief, your timing and skill is admirable. Consider applying half the effort it took you to master the timing of the doors towards a more useful task...like any form of employment.
3. Beats by Dr. Dre headphones are overpriced pieces of sh*t. Everyone seems to know that except the people that purchase and use them. Seriously, $200 for a set of mildly decent headphones?
4. And of course, the video is shot in portrait mode. Now I'm assuming the person recording this was doing so to be a little inconspicuous, but why bother? The guy singing obviously doesn't care what you think about him, so why should you care if he spots you recording? Bottom line: You don't stand your TV up on it's side when you watch it, so don't record video in that manner.
