You pull in to the gas station, hop out of the car and start pumping gas.  Maybe you stare for a few minutes at the sign for two-for-one hot dogs at the gas station convenience store.  Perhaps you squeegee the windshield.  Or maybe you just stand there.  Regardless, you shouldn't have to worry about runaway tires taking you out from behind.
