Friend and former intern
Loose Wendy posted the photo below on her Facebook page a little earlier and I've seen it posted on numerous other sites as well in the past few days. It's the 52 week money challenge and it seems super easy. It basically lays out a road map of how to save about $1,400 over the course of the year in a super easy way. So go get an old shoebox and meet me back here for a quick tutorial.
Back? Ok, let's go. This is the first week of the year. Put $1 in the box. At the end of next week (the second week of the year), put $2 in the box. At the end of the third week? You guessed it! $3! Do this for the entire year and by January 1, 2014, you'll have a cool $1,378 in your pocket!
Now, Wendy suggested that she may do the whole thing in reverse and work her way to lower amounts as the year goes on and that seems a bit more logical. Everyone knows how the holidays can make you strapped for cash. So what do you think? Will you give it a shot?
