Super Bowl 52 is set! On Sunday, February 4th, the New England Patriots will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Pats beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship 24-20, and the Eagles romped the Minnesota Vikings 38-7 in the NFC Championship game.
For more than three quarters, it looked like the Patriots weren't going to beat the Jags, but Tom Brady pulled off another amazing comeback. The Pats down 20-10 in the fourth quarter, and Rob Gronkowski had been taken out of the game with a concussion. But they had two late touchdown drives and shut down the Jaguars for Brady's 54th career comeback win.
The Eagles were three-point underdogs to the Vikings last night in the Philadelphia, but they didn't seem to get the memo, as they dominated the Vikings 38-7. The Vikings scored on their first drive of the game, but then the Eagles completely shut them down the rest of the way. The Falcons were favored against the Eagles last week and lost as well, so that could could be a bad sign for the Patriots in two weeks!
Right after the game last night, Vegas made the Eagles a six-point underdog, so we'll see how this all works out!
