Is it just us, or is it really hard to believe that a truck driver wouldn't notice that he had a car wedged under his front bumper and he was pushing it down the highway? Seems like that would be pretty obvious, but apparently not because a driver in St. Louis recorded just that: a truck pushing a car down the highway without even knowing it was there.
According to the truck drivers interviewed in this news piece, it's not that surprising at all that something like this could have happened. They sit up so high that there are massive blind spots all around them. And just because there were screeching tires and lots of smoke, that wouldn't necessarily make a driver think that there was a car stuck in the bumper. They probably assumed that the noise and smoke was coming from their truck. But damn...that's some crazy video!
Police determined that neither driver was at fault and neither was ticketed for the accident.
