If you've ever watched a marathon, you may have thought to yourself "They're not really running that fast. I could do that!" Well we're here to tell you that they are, and you couldn't.
A reporter covering the Stockholm Marathon recently decided to see how long she could keep up with the marathon leaders around the 1 hour, 46 minute mark. So with her microphone in hand, she took to the course. It took about 3 seconds for the leaders of the race to overtake her and leave her in the dust. It really puts into perspective how fast these guys are.
